Wendle ("Wendle", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Wendle mobile application (the "App"), a dating and social service for adults. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how and why we use it, who we share it with, and the rights and choices you have. Please read it carefully. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to the practices described here. Wendle is intended only for people aged 18 and older.
We collect the following categories of information so the App can work and so you can connect with other people.

You can choose not to provide some information (for example, location or optional profile fields), but some features may not work without it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to serve third‑party advertising.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process your information on these legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the App you signed up for); your consent (for example, location access and the profile details you choose to share, which you can withdraw at any time); our legitimate interests (keeping the service safe and functioning); and legal obligation (to comply with applicable law).
Your profile — including your photos, name, age, and the details you add — is visible to other Wendle members as part of the dating service. Messages you send are visible to the member you send them to. Please only share what you're comfortable making visible.
We use trusted providers to run the App. In particular we use Google Firebase (a Google service) for authentication, database storage, file/photo storage, and website hosting. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. You can review Google's privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy.
We may disclose information if required by law, or where we believe it is necessary to protect the safety of our users, investigate violations of our Terms, or protect our legal rights.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time directly in the App: Settings → Delete my account. Deleting your account removes your profile and associated data, including your likes. You can also email us at support@wendle.love to request deletion. We may retain limited information where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
We use industry‑standard measures to protect your information, including authenticated, rule‑based access to our database and encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your information and continually improve our safeguards.
Wendle is strictly for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we will remove it. If you believe a minor is using Wendle, please contact us immediately.
We and our service providers may process and store your information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
