Welcome to Wendle. These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Wendle ("Wendle", "we", "us", or "our") and govern your use of the Wendle mobile application and related services (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Wendle.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Wendle. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older, that you can form a binding contract, and that you are not barred from using the service under the laws of your jurisdiction.
You are responsible for the information you provide and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree that all information in your profile is truthful, accurate, and represents you — including that your photos are of you. One person may maintain only one account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Wendle has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You agree that you will NOT:
You can report or block any member in one tap. We review reports and may remove content, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms — typically within 24 hours of a report. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.
You retain ownership of the photos, text, and other content you submit ("Your Content"). By posting Your Content, you grant Wendle a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to host, store, display, and distribute Your Content solely to operate and provide the App (for example, showing your profile to other members). You are solely responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the rights to share it.
Wendle helps you meet new people, but we do not conduct criminal background checks on members and we do not guarantee the conduct or identity of any user. Always use good judgment: meet in public places, tell a friend where you're going, and never send money to someone you've met on the App. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
Wendle is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features in the future, the price and terms will be shown to you before you purchase, and payments will be handled through the Apple App Store subject to Apple's terms. Any applicable refunds are handled by Apple.
You may stop using Wendle and delete your account at any time in the App (Settings → Delete my account). We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, harm other users, or for any conduct we reasonably believe is unlawful or harmful to the community or to Wendle.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that you will find a match, or that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error‑free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wendle and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the App or your interactions with other members. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or USD $50.
You agree to indemnify and hold Wendle harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the App, Your Content, your violation of these Terms, or your interactions with other members.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which Wendle operates, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless applicable local law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
